Ok so today...was another FAILURE!..The bakers were at it again. Cooking to there little hearts desire and f ing everything up in the process!! For Breakfast we started out with those same butt battered french toast and as you guessed it..I passed...on to lunch....I was very excited to know that we were having lamb sliders and chix noodle soup for lunch. I'm not really a sheep eater but Lamb burgers are pretty good. So expecting a nice sized portion of 2 or three mini lamb sliders..I was disappointed to find one measly lamb slider!..WTF!..Hence the name slider(s) meaning PLURAL!!..Not 1! a hermit crab can eat that in 5 seconds! So Im thinking OK I can deal with this besides we have chips(fries) to go with it and they're high in fat anyway! So they gave us a small roll topped with thousands of poppy seeds slathered in a disgusting curry mayo, a tomato, and red onions. Curry and lamb..good GOD what a flavor combination..lls So I bit into my sandwich to find that it was cooked RARE!!!..Or should I say extra RARE the blood was dripping onto my plate!..
.YUCK!!..Lastly the Chicken Noodle soup was absolutely disgusting..just like yesterday!..It was loose as hell like eating watery broth, and it highly resembled DOG FOOD and seemed as if it tasted like it too..Kill Me Now!! SO yet another plate I left not even a quarter eaten and a dissatisfied stomach.Today we also went to Dublin to spend a few nights, shop and do what future Chefs do the best...EAT!!!...For Dinner I finally got what I have been longing for since I left the states...MCDONALDS!!!
Excited to see the differences in taste and menu selection I walked in. I realized how noticeably cleaner it was then other ones in America. It had three floors which the decor and furniture resembled a high quality club..they also had a couple different things including Cheesy Tots,Fish Fingers,Caramello Sundae and CURLY FRIES!!..Pondering at the menu I decided to go ALL OUT!!..Double Quarter Pounder no Pickles,Curly Fries and a medium sprite!...Sad to say Americas hormone, additive, preservative filled meat is 100 percent better!..First and Foremost the meat was Dry!..So lean I Couldn't even taste any fat except the cheese!...the Drink was a med. but our size small, and the curly fries were AMAZING!..So all in all yet another failure but my fries were good. BTW the prices were very expensive..around 9 Euro which is like 14 American dollars!
Until tomorrow FOOD fiends, addicts and lovers alike.
